Road Trip- The End

Thursday was Thanksgiving, we watched the parade, although Aidan wasn’t really interested in it. Then we headed to a neighbors house for drinks/apps, and the main course…Thanksgiving dinner! They made some yummy food, and we were FULL! Aidan spent his time playing in their golf carts (they had two) and running around the house seeing what he could get into. After dinner, we all headed back to Craigs parents for dessert. Aidan and I split a plate of yummy treats, he was dying for the cake with the turkey shaped frosting on it. Then it was early to bed for us!

Friday we went out for breakfast, then after Aidan’s nap headed to Silver Springs for a glass bottom boat ride, a look at some alligators, Santa and Christmas lights and other fun farm animals. Aidan even got to feed a giraffe!

Saturday, Aidan peed in the toilet twice!!! He has been looking to go pee in the toilet before we left, but I refused to put energy in something we couldn’t commit too. It was too long of a ride down here, and then once we were here, I thought he’d lose it. But it looks like we will be in full potty training mode when we get home!! Although, now that I think about it…diapers are just so easy! After breakfast, Craig and his parents went golfing. Aidan and I drove around while he slept, then headed to Walmart to pick up some treats for the drive home. We ended up eating dinner at a really, really good BBQ restaurant. Yum-O!

Sunday night we went to Magic Kingdom for Mickeys Christmas Party. We had such a great time! Aidan loved it! We danced, and saw characters, and went on rides. It was night and there were hardly any people, definitely the way to do Disney!!
