Downtown Disney

The night before we left, we decided to take a drive to downtown Disney to visit the Lego Store and the Disney Store. We had planned on eating at the Rainforest Cafe, but then we saw this restaurant.

This place was SO cool! Inside it had 3 sections. One was under water themed, one was ice berg themed, and one was jungle themed. Dinosuars were every where, and every 20 minutes or so they would have a lighting storm. The lights would flicker all different colors, and stars would appear on the ceiling, and there was loud booming. Aidan did get scared, but after a few times of hearing it, he was good.

Favorite

This is my absolute favorite picture of Aidan. ( Aidans cousin Sarah took this picture on her cell phone.)

He loves this hat, and when he sees it, he makes us put it on for him.

Magic Kingdom

We didn't take many pictures, I guess we were having too much fun!

We went on the carosuel, Its a small World, and the Winnie The Pooh ride. Disney was SO crazy busy when we went, the wait time for rides was beyond ridiculous. Aidan didn't have the patience to wait hours to go on a ride.

These were the only characters we saw, and we waited in line for an hour and a half to get our picture taken with them. (and by the time we got the the front, Pooh left!!)

Sea World

My favorite place to visit is Sea World. We weren't sure how Aidan would react to it, if he would like it or have any interest at all in what he was seeing. But he surprised us and he loved it all.

You can feed the seals and sea lions. (We declined. Raw, smelly fish was not our thing.)

Dolphin Tank.

Manatee Tank.

Tired baby.
We saw the dolphin show, and the Shamu show. Both were really good, and Aidan kept pointing and babbling at them. In the Shamu show, Shamu was so big that when he swam near us or was coming towards us, Aidan would get scared and hide behind us.

Hilton-Orlando

In Orlando we stayed at the Hilton across from Sea World. We have stayed here before, and we really like it here. They have three pools and one toddler water area. We spent most of our time in the toddler area because it was fenced in. Aidan could run free and we could catch some sun. In this area they just have water spouting from the ground. Aidan loved it!

We were waiting for our rooms to be ready so no bathing suit, but we let him get soaked anyway.

The Villages

The first couple of days of our vacation we spent at Craigs parents house in The Villages. This place is AWESOME! There is so much to do here.

Every night they have live entertainment in the square and vendors selling all sorts of things. Aidan loves to boogie.

We swam, and went for long walks around the golf courses, and took the golf cart for rides but one of the highlights for me was the Polo game. I had never seen one before, and it was fun.

Craig and his dad are out flipping over the divets.

Aidan wanted to get in on the action.

And we're off...

On April 1tth we headed down to Orlando, FL. I was very stressed about taking Aidan on a plane. He had already been to Florida once, but that was when he was 3months and slept the entire time! This time around he would be almost 17 months, and full of energy! When we got to the airport we went and got lunch, then Craig let Aidan run around the airport like a madman for about an hour before we boarded the plane. Aidan liked looking out the window to the men putting the bags onto the plane. Then we headed for the runway, and took off. And Aidan passed out! My prayers were answered and we had a great flight (with the exception of the little boy behind us) He woke Aidan up with about 45 minutes left in the flight so we brought out the laptop and watched Phineas & Ferb until we landed.

Sledding!

I love how we can walk through our backyard and into the woods.

Aidan was cute. When he fell off the sled, he would not even make a peep and just wait for one of us to pick him back up. He was so bundled up, he couldn't get up by himself..haha!

My baby..he is such a cutie!

Faux-Hawk

Before leavinf for Florida I took AIdan to get his haircut. Since we were going to a sunny, warm place I wanted a shorter cut. This is what we left with:

Isn't it adorable!!
He no longer looks like a baby, now he looks like a little boy.

Here comes trouble!

This little boy loves to get into everything!

We're Back!

It has been way too long since my last post! This winter has been rough for us, Craig, Aidan and I have caught every flu and cold that went around this season. Then we took a trip to Florida, and once we got back ... boom...hit with a stomach virus then another flu. I just got my camera cord back (we left it in Florida) so I will be posting all of our adventures since February.
