Putting the liners in the pan....
Putting the mix into the liners....

Trunk or Treat!

This is one of my favorite activities! This year there was a chili cook-off, which since I do make a mean chili, I should of entered...but I didn't. Then we had dinner, games, a costume parade, and then trunk or treating!

I was curious to see how Aidan would react to Halloween. Would he "get it"? Well, Aidan did have a blast for himself. And he made Craig and I crack up a few times. He went to his first "trunk" and was a little nervous, but I helped him put his basket up and say "trick or treat" and then of course he got a treat. Aidan then ran to the next car, and then the next rasining up his bucket looking for treats. Now I know he had no clue what he was getting in the bucket, but that didn't stop him from wanting to get more.
Once I gave him a pop from his bucket, it was all done. He sat int he middle of the lot and ate it.

Then he got up and ran over to my parents car looking for treats.

Then he would run over to Craigs car looking for a treat. He went back and forth like this for awhile. He knew what was up!! haha

Jack O' Lantern

Getting ready to start carving!
Drawing the face.

Inspecting to make sure daddy is doing it right.

Beginning to carve.

Wondering if he should stick his hand in.
Deciding it was best to look in there first.

Going for it..

Telling daddy he needs to do it.

Trying it again..

Nope, daddy will have to do it alone.

Seeing if it tastes good...

And our Jack O' Lantern is done!

King Richards Faire

A few weekends ago we headed to King Richards Faire. We are big fans of this place, and I think it's for the people watching alone. You never know who works there and who doesn't. Most people are dressed up in full medevial gear. Its pretty fascinating. This year Aidan had so much to see, we didn't hear a peep out of him all day!

Aidan is getting ready to watch the joust. Prime seats!

Craig won the axe throw competition!!

Getting ready to watch the "torture show".

We had such a great day! Can't wait to go back again next year!!

Hope

Craig had an early morning job in Hull last week, and he took this picture. So beautiful!!

It reminds me of how when I wake up every morning I say a prayer and I usually start off by thanking heavenly father for the new day, and thanking him for all of the blessing in my life one by one. This picture reminds me of how doing that makes me feel inside (warm, and hopeful) I have hope that the day will be a great one filled with love, laughter, and even more blessings than the last.

Flu season has begun!

Last week we were hit with the flu. Not fun! But this little guy was a trooper. And he loved cuddling with me on the couch, and that melted my heart!! He is usually running around and not stopping, I did enjoy some down time with one of my favorite boys!

ps. he LOVES his Mickey doll. He sleeps with him every night.

Presents!

Aidan got some really great presents for his birthday this year! Here is a couple of pictures we took of him playing:

On his motorized ATV. He wants to be just like daddy!!

On his indooer ATV.

Playing in the Handy Manny tent. Aidan is so funny with this, he hides in it, and you can just hear gigggling coming from the tent. Then he pops out and yells "Boo!"

Basketball hoop! I knew Aidan would love this. At gymnastics he plays with it all the time! He's pretty good at it too.
