We're Back!

I finally got a charger for my camera, so here is what we have been up too.

Boating has been our favorite pastime. We've had some great times with friends (unfortunately I didn't have a camera to take pictures) and family.

In June we took a trip to New Hampshire. We went to the Lost River and hung out at the condo's pool. Aidan loves the water, and could not get enough of "jumping in".

Weekend Fun

Friday night we went with our neighbors to a really, really good chinese food restaurant in Brockton.

Saturday we headed out on the boat to do some rafting, we ended up with a dead battery, and ran out of gas!! So, after a tow in..we got ready and headed north for a cookout at a friends house.

Aidan loved playing with the power wheels bike, he was so funny! Looks like we know what to get him for his bday!

Rain, Rain, go away!

I am really sad that I can not find my charger for my camera, I have so many cute pictures I want to ake off of it. And more pictures to take!! So until I either a. get a new camera b. find the charger, I will try to find pictures I haven't posted yet.

I just noticed that we have no pictures of Craig and I on here. We are out with the little boy in this picture, we had a fun time at a Guns and Roses tribute band concert. We need another night out soon!!
Aidan is in love with my laptop. Any time he see's it, he has to play with it. It is a little hard to get any work done with this little boy trying to type.

Can we please have some sun, so we can do this?!!?? PLEASE!

Blog Hop

This is one of my favorite pictures of Aidan. It was taken by his cousin Sarah while we were in Disney.

This week, on TUESDAY, 7/7/09, the theme is A FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPH. Post up one of your favorite photographs and a caption that tells the audience about it.

4th of July

We had a fun filled weekend this 4th of July. Friday we spent the morning on the boat, just hanging out catching some rays. That night we went to Nana & Grampa Donahue's boat for the festivities in Wesagusset. My camera's battery died, and I can't find the charger, so I don't have any pictures. But we had a great time. Aidan loved "driving" the boat, as well as the fireworks. We were a little nervous to see how he reacted to them, but he just said "wow" over and over. And he wanted to be held by everyone so he could get all the different views of the fireworks display. Saturday we dropped Aidan of at Nana & Papa McCrevan's so he could spend the night. Craig and I were attending a wedding for Jill and Billy. Food was great, and we danced the night away.

Boating!

We are now proud owners of a 10 person lake boat!! We keep it right on our lake, and we have been enjoying every minute we can cruising around.

Aidan is the captain. When Craig turns on the engine Aidan will run from whever he is, jump into the drivers seat and grab the wheel. Just try to touch the wheel, he will swat your hand away! ha!

We are loving life this summer. It was sad to hang up the beach pass for a year, but we've already had lots of friends and family out to have fun, and it has been a blast so far!!

Shopping

This week is going by SO slow! On Tuesday I swore it was Thursday, and then today I thought tomorrow was Friday! Geesh!

Lots of shopping today...

We headed to Target for a small vacuum. We have hardwood floors throughout the whole house, so when our vacuum broke, I thought we could just get away with having a small sweeper vacuum. I was wrong! Having two cats, and one dog make so much hair on the floors that the little sweeper can't keep up (even if I do it daily). I was completely fed up today, and found Target had a small vacuum (dirt devil) for $50. Perfect! I had to get a few supplies for a makeup job I am doing on Saturday, and of course there were some household stuff to get..laundry detergent, disenfectant wipes, shampoo etc.

Christmas Tree to scope out decorations for Em's graduation party. Didn't find anything. =(

Joann's for some fleece to make Aidan a Thomas the Train blanket.

Tomorrow we are heading to the playground for playgroup!

19 months!!

Aidan is 19 months!!!

What you are doing:

  • Uh-Oh has become your favorite word, and we hear it ALL DAY LONG!!

  • You now have 12 teeth.

  • When I tell you that you need your diaper changed, you go get a diaper for me.

  • You can throw, catch, and say "football".

  • You love the play car your cousins gave you. As soon as you wake up in the morning you want to go outside to play in it.

  • You sleep from 7:30pm until 6:30am.

  • You love to go for walks, and you would stay outside all day if you could.

  • Your favorite wagon to ride in, has become your favorite wagon to walk around the block. You are super strong!

  • You love your daddy, and you will knock on the door and call out "daddy" when he is working downstairs

  • You like to watch Phineas & Ferb, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Thomas the Train on tv.

  • You are wearing size 24 month clothes.

  • You are such a happy little boy, and we can always get a belly laugh out of you.

  • You like to eat fruits (banana, apples, mango, blueberries are favorites) and veggies (corn, peas, carrots are favorites) but it is all you will eat! You even gave up a piece of pizza for salad!

  • You love to play, and to be around other kids.

  • At the playground, you can climb up the big kids slide. When you get to the top, you turn around, sit down and slide back down. All by yourself!!

  • You love to take baths, you could play in there forever.

  • When you wake up you are always smiling, and when I pick you up, you give me a big hug.

  • I love being home with you, we get to do so many fun things together, and I get to watch you grow into the cutest little toddler.

  • You are a blessing in our lives, we love you so much, and we thank god every day for letting us take care of you.

Catch Up

We are finally on the mend (crossing fingers). Aidan and I just finished up our antibiotics, and we are praying we do not get sick for a long, LONG time. Next time we go away to some place warm, we won't be coming back here until the flu season is over!

Things around here have been pretty uneventful, other than Mothers Day, which was great. It was actually more like Mothers Day weekend. =) We went out to dinner (without Aidan) on Friday night, then the next morning went to our favorite breakfast spot (Pogos). Sunday I woke up too a dozen beautiful hot pink roses and a bunch of magazines. My hubby knows me well!! I spent the morning reading the latest gossip, and fashion. Later we visited our own mothers and ate way too much!

For the past two days Aidan has woke at 4:30am, let's just say after two days of this...I am so exhausted right now! I tried to limit his nap today to only an hour, he got a little cranky late in the day, but if it keeps him sleeping longer, it is worth it! I think it has something to do with his naps. The past two days we have been pretty busy, running around and going to the gym and the park, so he has taken 3 hour naps during the day. We'll see if I am right.

We ended up running to Target for diapers and wipes today, so I picked up a cute sweater to wear for Friday. We are having Em babysit, and heading to hear Jens brothers band play, which should be fun! This weekend will be a busy one, Saturday I am supposed to be going to see "Angels and Demons" and then Sunday is Jill's wedding shower. Busy, Busy!

I did get to catch up on my DVR at 5am, and I watched Gossip Girl and the Biggest Loser. BL was great! So good to see Jerry won for the people that went home, he was the oldest contestant by far. Just proves that no matter what your age, you can change. I was happy to see any of the three left win, they all did such an amazing job! So inspirational.

Tonight is the LOST finale, I can't wait to watch that tomorrow!

(Aidan is 19 months tomorrow! Where does the time go?)

Downtown Disney

The night before we left, we decided to take a drive to downtown Disney to visit the Lego Store and the Disney Store. We had planned on eating at the Rainforest Cafe, but then we saw this restaurant.

This place was SO cool! Inside it had 3 sections. One was under water themed, one was ice berg themed, and one was jungle themed. Dinosuars were every where, and every 20 minutes or so they would have a lighting storm. The lights would flicker all different colors, and stars would appear on the ceiling, and there was loud booming. Aidan did get scared, but after a few times of hearing it, he was good.
