BYC Christmas Party

In December we went to the Braintree Yacht Club Christmas party.

Aidan got dressed up in his outfit from nana Donahue. We think he looks like a little elf, so cute!

Aidan and cousin Jillian. Aidan wouldn't stop dancing long enough to get a picture taken.

Santa and Mrs. Claus giving Aidan his present. Aidan was a good sport with Santa, no crying, just curious.

Santa gave him trucks, Aidan was SO excited for that gift!

Christmas Tree Farm

(better late than never!!)

The 2nd week of December we visited a local tree farm to cut down our own Christmas Tree.

Aidan is hanging out in Santa Sleigh.

Aidan and Daddy hangin' with Santa.

Hayride to the grove of trees.

Looking for the PERFECT tree, I think he found it!

Yay, he did! We have our tree.

Looking for an xmas tree is a tiring job!

Playgroup

Last week for playgroup we went to a local wildlife center. We met many animals, but all Aidan was interested in was running around. (pictures taken from Cherisa, I love how she always brings her camera, I always forget mine!)

Edaville Railroad

Aidan really wasn't all that interested in the light displays during the train ride, but he sure loved having his family there to run back and forth to.

Since it was around 30 degrees, we bundled Aidan up so much he could barely move.

Aidan with Papa.

On his first carousel ride. He wouldn't sit on the horses, and every once in awhile he had a petrified look on his face, and almost burst into tears. but he didn't, and all was good. (I'm on the horse behind Craig and Aidan.)

We had lots of fun looking at all the lights, the train ride, carousel. Craig talked Krissy and I into going on the Tilt-A-Whirl, and of course making it spin so fast, I couldn't tell the ride had stopped! We were laughing so hard at each other screaming, and Craig trying to push us from side to side.

Ellis Gym-Playgroup

Our wonderful playgroup director comes up with the best ideas. I am excited to get my itinerary for the upcoming month because I find myself saying "Oh, I can't wait to do that!" I mean, I can't wait for Aidan to do that...;-)

Last month we headed to Ellis Gym, a place where Craig and I both took gymnastics years (and years) ago. I was excited to take Aidan, because I knew how much fun "the pit" and the big in floor trampoline was. Although Aidan was too small still for the "good" stuff, he had loads and loads of fun hanging out on the mats and playing with balls.

Farm Day!

(I forgot I had these on my camera!)

In October we went to Farm Day in Marshfield.

This was Aidans favorite part, he would not leave this cows side. He would cry if we tried to pick him up and carry him away. Luckily, the cow decided to come over and get a closer look at Aidan. Well Aidan was not too thrilled with that idea, and decided he had enough of the cow.

On the hayride.

Enjoying the band. Aidan felt they needed a drummer.

I swear Aidan is going to be a drummer in a band or something when he is older. He will find anything to use as a drum, and he rocks out. It is so funny!

King Richards Faire

In September we went to King Richards Faire. Its a renaissance fair/marketplace. Everyone is dressed up (including some of the visitors). We love to people watch and just walk around.

Craig and Aidan getting ready for the joust.

We had the best seats in the house for the joust.

The newlyweds. They left the next day on their honeymoon. (We were jealous!)

Seeing the sights.

Our family.

Rainy Day Ideas?

Rain Rain go away, come again another day....
Saturday is family day in our house. We like to be outdoors, and we want to take advantage of the warm weather for as long as we can. (o.k, 40-50 degree weather may not be warm to some, but it is to us) anywho, our plans of outdoor activity have been put on hold, and we are now racking our brain for indoor family activites... as you can see by the above picture, we are dying to get out of the house.
I think we have a few ideas, but if anyone wants to share what they do as a family on rainy day, let us know!! Please...

Happy Halloween!!

This year we headed to Aunt Nancy's neighboorhood to trick or treat with the cousins and their friends.

Aidan made a new friend named Sean. They were SO cute together. They had the baby babble going on, and when one cried the other followed.

Aidan loved trick or treating, not that he got to eat candy or anything, he was enjoying riding in his wagon and being with other kids.

It sure as tiring, and he fell fast asleep on the way home.

Oh No!

Aidan has gotten his first black and blue while trying to walk! He was playing with his Thomas the Train, and he fell on it, hitting his face below his left (in the picture) eye. You can barely see it in the picture, I know, but it is there!! I think it upset me more than Aidan, as he cried for a second and went back to trying to drag Thomas around the room.
