Saturday

Saturdays are a pretty busy day for us now, we want to get in all the fun stuff before I have to go to work at 1pm.

Last Saturday we went to see Skye cheerleading.

After the game, we decided to head to lunch at the "99". Aidan had a blast coloring

Good Stuff!

Funny Boy

Aidan stole my sunglasses from the diaper bag and came over to Craig to show us how he looked.

He sure is one COOL DUDE!!

I find this so funny. This is how Aidan plays with his trains, right in the middle of all the action.

*FYI- I cleared out most of those toys today. Two bags to the Salvation Army and two to the trash barrels.

Breakfast

On the weekends we like to go out to breakfast. Our favorite place is Pogo's and it just re-opned so we thought we would call our cousins to join us.

Aidan loves to hang out with his cousins! They keep him entertained which Craig and I love!

Rainy Days

Make our own "to-die-for" protein bars

Make yummy treats for a friends birthday! These were pretty good too.. Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes..seriously.

And bring the bikes in for a ride around the house while still in our PJ's...

Life is Good!!

Two year Check-up

Today was Aidans two year check-up.
This big boy is now 35" tall, and weighs 32lbs.
He got 2 shots, and a lead test today, and he didn't cry at all. The nurse was amazed that he didn't make a noise at all, and then when she was taking the blood for lead, he was so curious as to what she was doing.

The doctor said he is doing great. I did express some concern over Aidan's speech, so she gave us the number for someone to evaluate him. The doctor said she thinks he is fine, but I told her it would make me feel better to know if there is an issue, we didn't let it go.

After the doctors visit we went food shopping for Aidans birthday party then we hung around the house. I think I might be coming down with something...not good. and Aidan watched daddy winterize the boat. So sad the season is over already! It was such a short summer!

I still can't believe that in two years, you went from this....
To this.....

It is amazing how much you have changed our lives, and we are so grateful and feel so blessed to be your parents. You are the cutest, funniest, and smartest little boy! I am amazed at what you can do, and you crack me up on a daily basis. I feel so lucky to be able to spend my days hanging out with you.

Here is a little bit of what you are up to at 2yrs old:

-You are wearing size 2T clothes.

-You are a great eater, you eat 2 snacks and 3 meals a day. You still love fruits and veggies, and will chose it over anything else. You are drinking out of juice boxes. You are moving away from milk, you only have it 2-3 times a day now.

-You are a fantastic sleeper (I know I TOTALLY just jinxed myself here) You got to bed at 7:30pm and wake at 6:30am, and you nap at 1pm for one-one and a half hours.

-You love Mickey Mouse, and you have to sleep with your stuffed Mickey every night.

-You love to play with Thomas the Trains, trucks, trikes, and anything ride-on.

-You like to watch Dora, Mickey Mouse, Max & Ruby, and Wow,Wow, Wubzy...when you see wubzy you say "wow,wow" (It is so cute!)

-You love your gymnastics classes, you aren't afraid to try anything!

-You give kisses when we ask, it is so cute! and sometimes you will just come up to me and give me a kiss before you go into another room to play, you melt my heart!!

-You love to go on walks, you love to play at the playground, you love to be outdoors, just like your parents.

-You are the happiest kid, always laughing and smiling.

We love you SO much!! Happy Birthday Baby Aidan!

Gym Time!

A friend invited us to join them at a local gym place for a free trial class.



We walked the balance beam a few times, and the best part was jumping off at the end!

We were very cautious about getting in the ball pit at first, but after we did get in, we didn't want to get out!

Playground Fun

Before playgroup today we stopped by a playground. They have trucks, play houses and ride on's to play with along with the normal playground stuff.





I had to drag this little boy kicking and screaming back to the car.... he was in truck heaven and di not want to leave!
